The
Dreamer.
Registered Nurse. Reiki Master. Interfaith Minister. Artist. Mother. And the woman who decided that all of those things belonged in the same room.
A life lived in
separate chapters.
I believe life is made beautiful when we allow self-care, creativity, and authenticity to flow together. My own path has been shaped through years of healing, teaching, and creating. First as a Registered Nurse, and later as a Reiki Master, Interfaith Minister, and Artist.
For many years, I lived cautiously, keeping my passions and callings in separate spaces.
I kept these pieces in separate boxes. I thought that was what I was supposed to do. Be one thing at a time. Be legible. Be easy to explain at a dinner party.
At this halfway point in my life after years of healing, teaching, creating, and rebuilding I made a decision. I would stop leaving parts of myself at the door. The nurse and the minister and the artist and the dreamer were all the same person. It was time to live like it.
A nursing career built on
purpose and craft.
I spent over two decades as a Registered Nurse in clinical care, in quality management, in regulatory affairs, and eventually in emergency case management. I learned how systems work and why they break. I learned how to look at what is not working, define a better path, and build changes that actually stick. I used those tools in hospitals every day.
Then I went through my own breaking open. In 2016 I surrendered to a healing journey that took me through recovery, through seminary, through Reiki training, through the kind of honest inner work that changes how you move through every room. I became an ordained interfaith minister through One Spirit Seminary in 2019. I trained as a Reiki Master. I kept making things with my hands. I kept writing.
At some point I realized I had been building a wellness ecosystem without knowing it. Everything I had studied, practiced, survived, and created was pointing toward the same thing: a life where healing and creativity and joy and connection are not separate destinations. They are one path. And that path has a name now.
The Gracewell Studio is the home of that integration. It is where nursing meets ministry meets art meets community. It is the place I always needed and eventually had to build myself.
A wellness ecosystem
built with intention.
The vision for Gracewell is a living, growing wellness ecosystem. A space where every part of a person is welcome and every path leads somewhere worth going.
Someone searching for spiritual grounding can find their way in through the Believe path. Someone in the middle of reinvention can pick up a workbook and a new way of seeing. A beautifully wired mind can find a tool that brings real calm. A reader who needs beauty and honest conversation can pull up a chair and stay as long as she needs. All of them belong here.
My purpose is to help and to heal. To create beauty that inspires joy. To invite others into practices that cultivate balance, resilience, and a life that feels both authentic and whole. The real kind of wellness. Lived in, deeply human, and built to meet you exactly where you are.
There are five paths at Gracewell. You do not have to walk all of them. You just have to find the one that calls to you and trust that it will lead somewhere worth going.
Come in through whatever door fits. This whole place was built for you.
