Before I check my phone. Before I turn on the news. Before the world has a chance to crowd in, I pick up a pen and I write three pages. No theme. No rules. No right or wrong. Just whatever wants to come out.

Writing clears the clutter. When my mind is full, there is no room to receive the day. The dump makes space. What comes after those three pages is clarity, creativity, and a surprising sense of calm.

Try it tomorrow. Notebook and pen on the nightstand. Before anything else. Three pages. Watch what happens.

I wrote so much that buying notebooks got expensive. So I made the covers myself. Beautiful, durable sleeves that slip over a simple composition notebook and turn it into something worth carrying every day. Sustainable, handmade, and designed for the ones who write as a way of living.

Our bodies, minds, and spirits know when they need rest. The work is learning to listen before we reach empty.

On this path I offer you practices and suggestions that have helped me, and so many others who search for pause, peace, and inner tranquility. Not because the world stops being hard. But because you deserve a place to come back to yourself in the middle of it.

We are beings made of water.

Water as a wellness practice

We come into contact with water at so many points in a single day. Bathing, drinking, washing our hands, feeling rain on our skin. Water is everywhere. We move through it without even noticing.

Did you know that water carries energy? Dr. Masaru Emoto dedicated his life to studying this question. Water exposed to loving words and positive intentions formed intricate, breathtaking crystals. Water exposed to hateful words formed broken, chaotic patterns.

We are approximately 60 percent water. What we say to ourselves matters more than we may ever fully understand.

Gentle reminders

Be kind. Be gentle. Be loving with yourself. Talk to your water. Truly. Hold your glass and tell it everything beautiful you long to hear. Then drink it. Let it carry those words into every cell of you.

Life is beautiful. We have so many opportunities to slow down and find joy in the little things. Even in a single drop of water.
