Jewel | The Heritage Line

Jewel is a treasure box with handles. Gold tapestry, sapphire denim, and garnet stripes, finished with a row of jeweled buttons that shine like little gems.

Designed and made by my mother, Monina, for the Heritage Line. Tapestry, woven stripes, lace, and embroidered appliqué are pieced together over upcycled denim, with a long beaded charm in every color. On the back, a soft olive bow ties the whole story together.

For the one who seems to have it all. They don’t have this.

Two shoulder handles in denim and tapestry make it an easy tote for a book, a sweater, and the rest of the day.
