Heritage Summer: Bohème

Bohème is part of the Heritage Line, designed by my mother, Monina. Every bag in this line is its own slow act of attention, layered piece by piece over many hours, the way a story gets told.

The body is upcycled denim. From there, it becomes a tapestry. Warm autumn jewel tones, olive, gold, rust, and emerald layer together in ornate brocade, crowned with a stained-glass mosaic band. Hand-applied embellishments, rich embroidery, a gold-paisley strap, and a long earthy beaded charm with a little fish that moves when you move and catches the light like a small companion you carry with you.

A generous adjustable strap lets you wear it crossbody or over the shoulder. Outer pocket on main body, inner compartment has a zippered pocket. A small velcro tab keeps it closed.
