Heritage Summer: Flora

The Flora is part of the Heritage Line, designed by my mother, Monina. Every bag in this line is its own slow act of attention, layered piece by piece over many hours, the way a story gets told.

The body is upcycled denim. From there, it becomes a tapestry. Soft aqua and watercolor blooms in coral and rose give this bag a tender, garden-fresh presence. Hand-applied embellishments, gold-threaded floral embroidery, delicate lace trim, and a long beaded charm with a little songbird that moves when you move and catches the light like a small companion you carry with you.

A generous adjustable strap lets you wear it crossbody or over the shoulder. Outer pocket on main body, inner compartment has a zippered pocket. A small velcro tab keeps it closed.
