The Wanderer

Designed by my mother, Monina, the Wanderer is part of the Heritage Line. The body is upcycled denim. From there, it becomes a tapestry. Lace and crochet medallions in cream and burgundy. Hand-stitched fabric yo-yos, each one centered with a sequin. Embroidered florals in pink, purple, lime, and orange. Patches of southwestern print, batik blue, and crimson. A wide woven sash band lines the top. Wearable art. That is what this is. The strap echoes the same southwestern motifs in soft slate and turquoise. Easy to wear over a shoulder or across the body. And then there is the beaded charm. A trail of hand-selected beads in turquoise, red, and stone, finished with two antique brass medallions. One carved sun. One tiny clock face that catches the light. It moves when you move. This is for the one who finds beauty in the details. One of one. From my mother’s hands to yours.
