Heritage Summer: Capri

The Capri is part of the Heritage Line, designed by my mother, Monina. Every bag in this line is its own slow act of attention, layered piece by piece over many hours, the way a story gets told.

The body is upcycled denim. From there, it becomes a tapestry. Turquoise and bright island color anchor a joyful swirl of florals, crochet, and shine. Hand-applied embellishments, white lace trim, colorful embroidery, and a long beaded charm that moves when you move and catches the light like a small companion you carry with you.

A generous adjustable strap lets you wear it crossbody or over the shoulder. Outer pocket on main body, inner compartment has a zippered pocket. A small velcro tab keeps it closed.

Part of the Heritage Line at The Gracewell Studio. When The Capri finds its home, it is gone for good.
